The Challenge

In 2023, a Travel Brand ran a two-phased campaign. In Phase 1, they wanted to drive brand engagement and targeted reach through a high video completion rate, and in Phase 2, consideration through an increase in brochure interactions, as well as the flow-on effect of increased booking calls and quotes.

News Corp’s suite of highly advanced Interactive Video technology offered the ability to directly address both Phase 1 and Phase 2 goals, making them the perfect partner for the travel brand’s campaign.

The Idea
Using Vudoo’s innovative Interactive Video technology, we built a ‘branching’ short from pre roll video to highlight all three destinations whilst simultaneously amplifying the video through our innovative adaptive streaming banners. We also contained brochure access and download within the unit itself to remove a key barrier to access.

The Stats

The campaign achieved a total exclusive reach of 1.62M, (+440% over BVOD’s 0.3M benchmark), a unique reach of 775K, (+240% over BVOD’s 319K benchmark), and a 75% uplift in Sales Form Fill Rates and 149% uplift in Web Response Rate on Our World News content vs. non targeted activity.
